Um, Robozombies anyone??

  • Mood:

Tonight I read some possibly disturbing news and I'm quite stumped as to what to say about it.

Let me make a small note before I share this news with you all:  It is to be taken with a grain of salt until more news sources pop up with the same information. In other words, its very likely that this could just simply be a conspiriacy theory and not even be true. However... if it is true... then Goddess help us all.

The news:

Military Researchers Develop Corpse-Eating Robots.

That's right. You read that correctly. Don't worry, you don't need to get your eyes checked or anything. Crazy sounding isn't it? If this is truly real, then we have Robozombies among us. (Robozombies is a term I proudly came up with to dub them as)

But where should we be drawing the line here? It seems, in my opinion, that things may be getting out of hand and going too far when it comes to a project like this.

Allow me to be more clear about the bolded sentence. Yes. They are battlefield/defense robots that are actually programmed to collect ('feed' with their program/materials that they are made of) organic matter... which INCLUDES human corpses. And get this extra bit of info: TO USE FOR FUEL!

Let me give a big 'WTH??' out for ya right now.

Maybe these scientists don't watch movies or television or all those fabulous technological thrillers and horror movies? If you've picked up anything over the years, we all know these robots will ignore the soybean fields and make a buffet line right to the nearest dead bodies.

And when they run out of dead bodies or can't find enough to sustain their programming that has gone haywire at this point?

Well my dear friends... they'll make new ones and start going after the fresh, live humans instead.

This is seriously disturbing and I am trying my best to not get wrapped up in it until I know for sure if it's real. But one can only wonder that if it is real... has the U.S. Gov finally gone too far with technology??

I would have to say so.

So, I guess we should start marinating.

Take the story with "a" grain of salt, Crystal? I'm thinking more like a few thousands cases of the stuff. Although.....

Our world IS moving in a more mechanical and automatic direction, so maybe it's not quite so unlikely as we might want to think it is. The story does seem like a bit of a spin on the War of the Worlds story, but if you look at the direction our world is moving in...

All I'm saying is that there may be some truth hidden here that the government doesn't want people to catch onto. I mean, we all know the government has some pretty major secrets, so who's to say that there isn't some truth to this story, right?

Have a great day and a great weekend, my friend. Catch ya later!

WELCOME BACK... eeeeeeeeuuwww! Carcass eating ROBOTS? sounds gross. What's next? But you never know just WTF our governments are up to. It wouldn't suprise me in the slightest. Very strange concept tho. Have a great weekend! Shawno
